Disappointing experience. I paid for a 60 minute massage but I'm certain it was cut short to 45/50 minutes.. the lady was talking to me a lot during the massage which was a bit of a distraction, I was there to try and relax but couldn't completely unwind. I felt judged for being "different" because I have a lot of tattoos and for being a young mum. Really did not enjoy this experience. Im 39 weeks pregnant, exhausted and so bloody sore. I left feeling worse than when I arrived.

I've had medical appointments with Dr Teahan and remedial massages with Takako, and would like to say a big thank you to both of these wonderful practitioners for their care, support, sharing of knowledge, and professionalism. The Live Well clinic space is beautifully decorated, and is always very calm and welcoming.

I was given a voucher for a 1 hour massage as a gift from my partner. I booked it in on the website which was nice and easy. Got an email to fill in more details and highlight the areas of concern. Arrived in the day and the massage therapist had none of that information and asked it all again. She was late to take me in, asked the questions and still finished 5mins before the hour. All in all it was a 45min massage when paid for 1 hour. It was a poor massage too which made it even worse.

I would like to thank Takako for the wonderful care she has given me over the past 5 years. I have had a range of wonderful therapeutic massages. Showed up for my appointment and the massage therapist was not there. No communication or messages that my appointment needed to be rescheduled. I don't appreciate my time being wasted. There are so many 'spas' that offer massage in Canberra that I wouldn't waste my time going back.
Update: since writting this post I was contacted via email by Wes… the owner, he did apologize for my bad experience and offered me a gift voucher to return which was kind. I recently took advantage of this offer and booked a remedial massage with a senior therapist. My massage experience was not that great.

Towards the end of last year the pain in my shoulders and neck increased as did the frequency of my headaches. I was recommended to Live Well in January. I found the staff extremely professional and sensitive. I was listened to and the treatment has been spot on. My therapist made a priority to stop the headaches caused by neck strain and tension and is succeeding. I am not 'cured' but there is no way to describe the feeling of being free from weekly headaches / migraines. My treatment is changing and progressing as necessary to continue on the road to recovery. Thanks Live Well.

I am 35 weeks pregnant and just had my first pre-natal massage with Gavin last saturday morning. It was absolutely wonderful! He had all the right pillows to make me and my growing belly cozy and knew how to put me in the perfect position. He is very knowledgeable and informative, and I come out feeling totally renewed. I definitely want to go back for another become the baby comes!
