The Benjamin is perfect for an overnight stay for travellers using the Hunter Expressway, Putty Road, the New England Highway or the coast road via Dungog and Stroud. We are also handy for concerts in the Pokolbin Vineyards and we never impose minimum night stays for these events.
If you have time while you are in town we can recommend a visit to the Australian Military Museum, a tour of Sacred Spaces, a bushwalk in Mt Royal or a country drive up to Lake St Clair.Don't forget to take a look at our landmark sundial, take in some history with a Heritage Walk or visit to the Singleton Historical Museum or have some fun in our all-abilities playground at Cook Park.

This place is typically the cheapest true hotel in Singleton for a reason. it is very basic and located between the highway and an offramp.
If budget is an absolute priority, it is clean enough and recently renovated (once agian, to a budget). But you'd want to be a heavy sleeper.
On the other hand, if you get sent here for work, you might want to have a serious chat with your boss.

On the advice of a friend, we stayed at the Benjamin Motel last weekend. It has a low-key exterior but the interior was a lovely surprise. Very clean, comfortable beds, fully renovated bathroom, tea & coffee making facilities (with fresh milk available) & an iron & Ironing board. Although it was close to the main road, the traffic noise was minimal (a Saturday night) & very little on Sunday morning. Craig & Rebecca (the owners) made us feel very welcome & I would recommend this motel for travellers' passing through Singleton.
