I made an appointment with In Style Gates to come and service my gates. They informed me it would be a couple of weeks as they were waiting on some diagnostic equipment that would make it easier for them, would I mind waiting. No that's fine, I understand and can wait. So on the week of the due date I call to confirm...Yes we will be there after lunch on Friday. Great see you then I reply.
Friday comes, no one comes, they do not answer phones Friday afternoon, no one calls to delay appointment. So I call Monday morning....They know who I am an acknowledge that they did not turn up. So I suppose

Engaged with Instyle to replace a faulty sliding gate motor. Initial quote and install was relatively painless until new motor again failed just days after installation. The contractor attributed the fault to a safety sensor issue with the only solution provided being to disconnect the sensor which clearly isn't ideal but at least motor was useable.
12 months later our fence collapsed in poor weather in part due to the gate being incorrectly mounted to the fence rather than with the use of a support post behind the fence. Instyle although not responsible for the gate installation did not identify

Requested a quote a month ago for one of my clients. I finally receive the quote on Thursday by email, followed up later that day with a text message and then a further email today (Saturday) asking why I hadn’t responded yet.

Called these guys more than 2 months ago to fix my automatic driveway gate which has broken down. After leaving multiple messages with their reception staff and after getting multiple reasssurances that someone will call me back they finally sent a text via their messaging system asking if my power supply is working. ... Seriously; wouldn't I have called an electrician if that wasn't the case?? They ended up giving me a quote of more than 500 dollars for the repair (this is a gate that this company installed 2-3 years ago). I said fair enough and asked when they will come to fix it.
