Park Central Podiatry
Park Central Podiatry is an advanced Podiatric Centre located in the Macarthur area with our practitioners having experience in a wide range of conditions including sports medicine, nail surgery, the diabetic foot, paediatrics and general foot care. We work with each of our patients to provide a thorough assessment, diagnosis and an individual approach to their treatment.
Services
Established in 2007 our clinic is centrally located within the Park Central medical and business area. Our clinic is a purpose built facility where patient convenience and comfort is our highest priority. With this in mind we are able to deliver the highest quality health care in a modern and friendly environment.
Injuries to the foot and lower limb make up a large portion of sporting injuries. Many activities involving walking, running, standing or jumping places increased physical demand on your body more than normal day-to-day activities.

As active members of both Sports Medicine Australia and the Australian Podiatry Association, our Podiatrists have experience and knowledge of the biomechanics of athletic movement and can assess foot conditions along with recommend appropriate footwear, training regimens and orthotics devices. If you are experiencing pain or want to know about preventative measures you may benefit from a biomechanical assessment by one of our Podiatrists.
A biomechanical assessment is an investigation into your lower limb function. The purpose is to assess for any abnormalities and/or compensations which may contribute to pain or simply for prevention of injury. Using a series of weight-bearing and non-weight bearing assessments, including gait (walking) analysis, our skilled Podiatrists focus on the position, alignment, function, range and movement of the foot.
Good foot health is very important for people of all ages and throughout our lives many experience foot pain from one time or another. Our Podiatrists have experience in assessing, diagnosis and managing foot conditions.

Causes of these conditions may be varied and can result in excessive stresses and inflammation on joints, tissues and ligaments in the foot potentially causing pain, discomfort and conditions such as ankle, shin, knee and lower back pain.A biomechanical assessment is recommended so we can identify the causes and provide treatment through a tailored management plan.
If you have diabetes it is important to know the condition of and risks associated with your feet as diabetes can cause damage to the nerves and circulation (blood supply). To help prevent complications such as ulceration and in serious incidence amputation, it is important to manage and care for your feet appropriately.

My son had an ingrown toe nail and was worried about having it treated. I'm so thankful Nicole was his podiatrist, she was so calming and understanding. She put my son at ease and made him feel comfortable with every step that happened. Definitely recommend the services provided by Park Central Podiatry!!
