I'm Maria, a mum of two. I started Florence + Myrtle in 2014 because I saw a need for handmade natural products with sustainable ingredients. With a background in science, I turned my attention to skincare after my daughter was born. Like all parents, I wanted the best for my kids and her eczema prompted me to research and investigate different ingredients and its effects on our body.

Florence & Myrtle use natural organic ingredients free of sulfates, parabens and phthalates. We believe in minimising our global footprint and prefer to source ingredients directly from the producer.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Certified Organic Shea Butter, Certified Organic Cacao Butter, Sunflower Oil, Hemp Oil, Australian Clays, Activated Coconut Charcoal, Botanicals, Oatmeal, Coconut Milk, Pure Essential Oils, Ground Coffee Beans and phthalate free fragrance oils.Always use a soap dish that allows for full draining.

We use non-GMO soy wax (derived from soy beans) which is a sustainable resource. There are no toxins emitted when burned unlike paraffin wax which is derived from petroleum. Florence & Myrtle artisan soaps do not contain any palm oil, petroleum products, SLS or SLES, sulphates, phosphates or any other nasties.

All our products are handmade and we use natural, organic ingredients sourced locally where possible. We support Australian farmers and fairtrade producers. We care about the environment and have made many conscious decisions to ensure we walk the talk. We recycle our packaging like the cardboard boxes our candle jars come in.

Florence & Myrtle skincare is free from nasty chemicals and we source sustainable plant based ingredients from local suppliers. We are palm oil free, vegan and our products are free from petrolatum, SLS or SLES, sulphates, phosphates and phthalates. Our artisan soaps are biodegradable and grey water safe.
