The store is in its eighth year, owned and operated by south coast local Emma Gilbert. Emma is a 27-year-old fashionista and entrepreneur who, in 2013, sought to share her love of eclectic homewares, clothes and art with the world. Gilbert & Co. was born, brought to life in a summer pop-up store right on The Esplanade at Encounter Bay, on the Fleurieu.

Our exotic collection of colourful kaftans, summer tops, and dresses are floaty, cool and dreamy. Flattering any figure, they can be worn during the day at the beach, or paired with a denim jacket and a nice matching necklace from our store, or glammed up for those summery night parties with some heels and bling.
