Our main aim in treating diabetic patients is to prevent complications. Patient education is key and we look at all aspects effecting the foot. We focus on foot care, footwear, aids available, circulation / sensation testing and biomechanics to ensure good foot health. This is known to help with many foot problems and significantly reduce pain and increase foot function.

Ash originally decided on a career in Podiatry because she loves to help people and brighten their day. She loves health and fitness and to study the body and its function. Hence she can assist with making people feel better, more comfortable and assist them to be able to live a fuller life. We provide general treatment/nail care, corns and callus removal. Ingrown nail care including nail surgery, bio mechanical examinations, children's foot problems, gait evaluations, diabetic examinations, doppler studies of the foot arteries, paraffin wax baths, wound management, foot mobilisation. Your feet are one of the most important parts of the body, yet they receive hardly any of the attention they deserve.

Shockwave Therapy Report

The staff are all very well spoken, professional, polite and great to talk to. I went in with really bad pain in my feet, calves and Achilles tendon and they sorted me out quickly with a recovery plan and treatment which fixed my issue. Could not recommend them enough.

My daughter was suffering terribly with Sever's disease and was recommended by a friend to make an appointment with Wynnum Podiatry. Jacki and her staff were fantastic, so helpful got the inserts I needed for my daughter's shoes which has helped her dramatically. Would highly recommend this business to anyone who is in need of a podiatrist.

I had been having issues with my feet at work I went and saw ash at Wynnum Podiatry. She was able to indentify the issue straight away, made padded inserts to rectify the problem area and i have been pain free ever since.

I have had an Achilles problem for years. I have tried everything and I mean everything! I saw the podiatrist for shockwave and after 5 visits I am running pain free again. I’m in runners heaven once again. Wonderful staff would highly recommend.

I had the worst ingrown nail and I was terrified. It did not hurt a bit. The lovely podiatrist was so gentle, kind and patient with me. In 20 minutes she fixed my toe and i walked out pain free. Highly recommend the lovely staff. I was also able to get an appointment the day I called. The receptionist was great on the phone and put my nerves at ease.

I have been taking my children to Wynnum Podiatry Centre for many years. The staff have always been excellent. My children were born with a foot defect and over the years the podiatrists have fixed them with their excellent care. They are wonderful and I thoroughly recommend them.
