Moss Vale Golf Club
Proof of vaccination will be required by the. Since joining the MVGC as a Junior Member back in the 1960s, I have maintained a membership of one sort or another over the years, and I am currently a Social Member. I look forward to receiving each Pin High missive telling me what has happened on/around the course and future plans for the Club.

It is wonderful to see that the current Club Pro Davyd Reeves has in place an active program for junior players. It would appear the MVGC is in good hands and will continue to improve and provide pleasure to all golfers into the future. On moving to the Southern Highlands from country NSW in the 80s, I needed to be involved in the community and one way was to continue my love for the game of golf.
Services
Situated in the heart of the picturesque Southern Highlands, Moss Vale Golf Club was founded in 1902 and designed in its current location and layout by Carnegie Clark, with the course completed in 1936. The scenic 18-hole, par 71, championship course offers a challenging and enjoyable experience for all level of players.
Moss Vale Golf Club was founded in 1902, when golf was played on a member's Sutton Forest property. In 1904, the Club leased land behind the Royal Hotel in Moss Vale, and a highly respected Professional, Carnegie Clark, was engaged to design the course layout. At that time, the Club boasted 101 members - and a debt of 17 pounds.
Dads Army is a group of volunteer Moss Vale Golf Club members who work on Club tasks around the course on the first Monday of the month from 8am to 12.30pm, and occasional ad hoc days as required. The work plan is developed by the Course Superintendent in conjunction with Dads Army coordinator, Lynn King.
Moss Vale Golf Course is a golfer's paradise in the Southern Highlands of NSW, and is regarded as one of the most scenicand challenging courses in regional NSW.Avenues of mature pines, elms, gums and vividly coloured claret ash flank the winding course which was completed in its current layout in 1936.

Harder to score well than you'd think, tricksy greens put an edge to a lovely golf course. Incredibly friendly with charming staff in pro shop.

Finding a bunch of passionate members who I now call friends who I share a great game with regularly. The course itself is beautiful, with emerald green grass abounding with native wildlife. To walk the course is a pleasure. Its also challenging with the 14th my favorite hole. Davyd at the Pro shop has gone out of his way to make golf accessible and fun.
