Ascot Veterinary Hospital offers a host of pet vaccinations to help prevent and manage diseases in the furry members of your family and keep them happy and healthy for longer. Vaccinces for animals are just as important for them as they are for human babies. Numerous infectious diseases can affect our pets, which is why vaccinations are vital in protecting their health and wellbeing.
Planning a trip with your pet overseas? Let our experienced veterinary team take care of the vaccinations, treatments, tests and health checks required for exporting pets from Australia. We administer rabies and leptospirosis vaccinations and can complete any required blood testing. Before international pet travel, we strongly advise that you chat with a pet travel agency to ensure that all permits and paperwork are in order.
These vaccines are often packaged together in one injection called a 'C3' vaccine. The vaccination for Kennel Cough is considered non-core but is highly recommended for dogs in the Perth area. We regularly see dogs with canine cough so encourage all dogs to have the C5 vaccine, which includes the Kennel Cough.
Ascot Veterinary is able to provide parasite control by means of injections, tablets, chewables, spot ons and collars for your small animals. Our veterinarians provide expert advice managing fleas, heartworms, intestinal worms and other parasites that your pet may encounter. Nematodes (roundworms) and Cestodes (flea tapeworms, hydatid tapeworms and hookworms) can cause a range of issues in pets.

All vets care about your animals, the difference with Ascot veterinary hospital is the complete package, amazing support of a team they have who care about your animals and you with vets that could only be called animal whisperers who listen to you and what your animal is doing out of their sight.
We moved away from the area our dog became ill and 3 other vets continued to diagnose him as just suffering from old age. Popular vets. Some of the vetinarians I prefer over others. 4 stars because normally they are very good but when my dog injured her leg, the vet, (who I won't name because normally when I see him he is usually very good), only suggested surgery and wasnt very helpful with any alternative treatments (muscle tear). Thank goodness for my neighbour who told me about Active Pet Rehab who have been crucial in my dogs recovery. Enough parking out the front of the vets. Good location. I would recommend.

Very polite and caring, easy to approach, quite happy to answer any questions regarding ur beloved pet and if they are not sure they are very willing and happy to help u find the info ur looking for and above all they love and care about ur pet will a calm and gentle manner just as much as we care and love our pets.

Dr Catherine is a lovely vet who is super kind, friendly and gentle with my anxious sausage dog. I find some of the male vets a little rough but Catherine always has treats for my pup and has a really genuine, animal- loving approach. Would definitely recommend her!

These guys were absolutely amazing! Everyone I dealt with was so friendly and helpful, every nurse, reception person and vet was perfect. Dr Evans was really calm and friendly, he was super patient and understanding and made sure Ellie was relaxed and ok.... and me too. 😂🙈 My poor doggo was hanging on for dear life and was treated like an absolute superstar! Even her bandage was sparkly and pink - Her favorite. 💖 Without these guys I dont know what I would have done... They were even open on the Easter Long Weekend! Thanks guys, you have a new patient for life. 🐾🌹🐕
