Established in 1986 and named after one of Australia's foremost musicians and composers, Percy Grainger, the group seeks to perform wind symphony music of the highest calibre.Presenting approximately eight concerts a year throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria, the Grainger Wind Symphony strives to bring its audiences a greater appreciation and enjoyment of the works of Australian composers and wind symphony music generally.

Frankston business BAT Design has received a prestigious international award for its work on the Council and State Government funded Streetlife program to revitalise one of our most important city streets.
As part of the program Council engaged BAT Design, itself located in Wells Street, to develop an identity and brand for the Street, and their outstanding efforts earned them bronze in the category of 'Complete Branding Package' for the 2014 Summit Creative Awards (SCA).These awards recognise and celebrate the creative achievements of small and medium-sized advertising agencies worldwide and this year had more than 5000 entries from 24 countries.
