Lovely little cottage close to everything Richmond has to offer. The cottage is rustic but clean and well equipped. The lady hosting the property is just lovely too. Highly recommend.

Would have given NO STARS if it were an option! The lady owner was awfully rude to us, when we arrived to stay their for one night she told us the accommodation had been cancelled and we should have received a call from bookings.com which we hadn’t till after we turned up and she cancelled it after we had arrived. She did not give us any explanation or apology, she couldn’t even open the door to talk to us properly. We had absolutely no accommodation till 6pm that night and thought we would have to sleep on the street. What a horrible person!

Magnificent little gem situated in Richmond, we had 7 people so utilised both buildings. Vianne made us feel like family members that had come to stay rather than paying guests. Beautifully presented, clean with the most comfortable beds. Highly recommended

Vivienne was such a great host/ owner! We walked in to see if we could get accommodation and she was still cleaning up the other cottages. She was very quick to help my partner and I out. We were spoiled with the breakfast provisions she provided. It’s so close to everything in Richmond and the owner gave us all the local tips! I highly recommend this cottage.

This beautiful place is located in the middle of the hub of richmond in the main street amongst the cafes and shops. Our host was charming and so was the accommodation with its old worldly charm you get a true sense and experience of old richmond town. We arrived to an asortment of lovely teas and treats locally sourced we couldnt ask for more the perfect little escape in richmond.

We travelled as two couples all over tasmania and recently stayed in red briars villa, very nice comfortable place , very friendly overly helpful staff , they would do anything to make stay more pleasant ...
Beds were amazingly comfortable and the spa bath was the best I have ever seen and enjoyed it totally...
Cooking facilities were just enough for a short stay and couches were very comfortable...very close to an amazing walk along main st shops ... I only gave 3 stars because it was the coldest place we have ever stayed in, yes there is reverse cycle heating in lounge which sort of worked

Very disorganised host . Messy reception area as well as the shambolic adjoining owners kitchen / sitting area . Not a great first impression . Stay there if there's no other option . We left Richmond because of it and continued our Tasmanian journey .
