Originally owned and operated by Executive Director Jim Miller as the sole proprietor, the company has expanded from a refrigerated transport company to a complete supply chain management provider. Today, SRT provides dry grocery logistics and warehousing services interstate and across Bass Strait.

SRT is the only Tasmanian transport company that services every town in Tasmania, every week without the use of on-forwarders.

Logistics service aside. The drivers are hoons and a menace on the road. we were tailgated by a prime mover towing a trailer "Y-30-CB" yesterday on the western ring road. The driver then went on to tailgate other trucks and cars on the right lane. An disaster in the making.

SRT have made life difficult for me. It “is not company policy” to deliver to residential addresses”. It is also apparently not company policy to be helpful, Co-operative, constructive or empathise with their customers. They behave like schoolyard bullies. I will be telling everybody I can about my negative experience for many years.
