We open at 7.30 am on weekdays to allow early drop-offs for pets due for operations or that need to be left for working owners or clients who are unable to make it to our normal consulting times.

Meet our professional, experienced and compassionate vets at Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery & ACVet Hospital. Steve is the principal and owner of Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery. Steve graduated from Queensland Vet School with Honours in 1985 and after 2 years in Biloela, Central Queensland worked in the UK for the following 14 years.
Andrea can boast 40 years experience in Veterinary Nursing, Veterinary merchandising and 30 of those years have been spent at Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery. Andrea has a great knowledge of Veterinary products and has many years of experience in Surgical Nursing. Andrea is a fantastic and skilled nurse both in medicine but particularly in Surgery.
We are fully equipped and staffed to deal with emergencies and please remember we will see your pet in case of an emergency as a matter of urgency and given a priority to be seen. Appointments for emergencies are not necessary or possible in many circumstances but if there is the possibility of a phone call before arriving this will help us plan and prepare for the arrival of your pet.
Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery can help with many of your pets' behaviour problems. Please feel free to ring the surgery on 3264 1222 to arrange an appointment with your pet or a telephone consultation with one of our vets. If we feel we can't help you over the phone, we won't charge any fees and may recommend a visit or referral to a dog behaviour specialist.

I’ve been with Sand Creek over 8 years now. I appreciate the way each of the Doctors I have dealt with truly care about my Lab, Ramsay. They treat him with the same TLC each and every visit. They take their time listening to all my concerns and make sure all questions have been answered. They also personally follow up with a phone call when his test results are in.
I am very satisfied with Sand Creek Animal Hospital and would highly recommend them.

This is hands down the best vet I've ever been to. I have lived in 6 cities and never met a vet that is so compassionate, knowledgeable, friendly and capable. My favorite thing about this vet is that they don't use fear to pressure you into unnecessary expenses. They are honest and thorough. I truly can't say enough good things about this place and I constantly encourage people to drop their existing vet and come here.

Sand Creek animal hospital is the best by far… The place is super clean, staffs are very nice and professional, Dr. McDaniel is very thorough, he made me feel safe having my dog goes there. I love love love it here and so my little Bella. I wanted to thanks Dr. McDaniel and all the staffs at Sand Creek Annimal hospital for all their hard work to keep our dogs SMILE!!!

I love Sand Creek Animal Hospital. It's the little things that matter and they send email updates, birthday emails, call you after an appointment to go over labs and are always open to answering questions that I have over the phone! I think the staff have all been nice and my dog loves the cheese and chicken they give him during the visits! Been a client there for over 6 years and have no plans of stopping anytime soon

I've been bringing my dogs (hounds) here since December. They have been wonderful to work with! They have been very accommodating when it comes to scheduling appointments (especially in the case of emergencies!) and have treated my dogs with great care. I highly recommend Sand Creek (and specifically Dr. Wolff!) to anyone looking for a caring and thoughtful vet!

I have had a fantastic experience thus far with Sand Creek Animal Hospital. Upon getting a puppy in March, I chose Sand Creek for his care. I had to wait until July for a new patient appointment. (Everywhere is this busy. They are worth the wait!!) from March to July I have called Sand Creek numerous times with questions and concerns and the receptionist was kind, patient, and helpful each and every time. Before I was even an official customer of theirs! They would stay on the phone with me until my nerves were eased and all of my questions and concerns were answered. It’s nerve wracking having

I have been bring my cat to sand creek hospital for years, the vets and staffs are very kind and patient, I can tell that they really care about the fur babies. I meet with Dr. Friello mostly, she is very knowledgeable and very careful at giving you advices, I met with Dr. Sonnekalb once because Dr. Friello isn’t available, he is very friendly, chill and knowledgeable too. The front desk ladies are super nice! Always answer the call on time and the email response time was very fast as well!!
