In 2014, In Gear Australia was established to provide a new standard of driver training for young Australians. All our programs are designed and developed to integrate the latest road safety research and industry trends to ensure our learners develop smarter, safer driving skills. Each program is complemented with a comprehensive range of integrated educational resources, including handbooks and multi-media, provided to all clients.
Midnight black, dark tint and lots of chrome - driver training has never looked this good. With a five star ANCAP rating - the Mini Cooper has achieved the highest rating from Australia's independent car safety rating agency. Dual front, side and head-protecting airbags, three point seat-belts and anti-lock brakes with electronic brake distribution as standard, the Mini Cooper is built with safety in mind.
The program is designed to provide participants with factual information about the effects of Alcohol and Other Drug use and the direct impact it has on themselves, their families and the broader community. Participants are required to reflect on their attitudes and behaviours around Alcohol and Other Drugs and driving.
Our client South 32, recently engaged In Gear Australia to provide a range of driver training for members of its Environmental Rehabilitation Team on Groote Eylandt. With a strong focus on practical skills and the development of positive safe driving behaviours, the training achieved its key outcomes of creating smarter, safer drivers.
To provide young drivers with the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to remain safe on our roads. This program is based on national training standards and will correct unsafe driving practices, behaviours and attitudes that may have developed since drivers have obtained their licence.
Delivered in small groups, this program is highly practical and targets the identification and rectification of unsafe driving behaviors that drivers may have developed, as well as other more advanced defensive driving techniques.

100% would recommend and would give a 10/10 if I could. Joshua makes learning to drive fun and it's more like driving with a close friend instead of a stranger. Even if I made some mistakes he was calm and patient with me. After every lesson i felt more comfortable and confident with my driving.

With Joshua and Julie's patience and guidance, I was able to finally get my provisional license! The process from start to end was nothing short of amazing + side bonus: they were very accomodating in the booking process. You get what you pay for – I'd highly recommend In Gear for learner drivers and others.

I'm an exceptionally nervous driver, and I'm very grateful to Joshua and Julie for ensuring I got to where I needed to be. Their patience and communication was excellent, and they always gave advice and guidance on the littlest things, which is what I needed. Whilst it cost me quite a bit (the only downside I believe) I'm happy with the experience because of the quality teaching and support from the instructors :)

I had an amazing experience with In Gear Australia team. First of all, now I've got my Ps and finally I can drive by myself and feel so comfortable driving.
But before having a few lessons with them, I had a massive fear of driving a manual car and I had no idea what I was doing. Especially I am not from here and the road rules are so different from where I come from. But Joshua made me feel comfortable about driving and explaining very well how road rules are working in Australia etc... I highly recommend IN GEAR team.

Thankyou thankyou Thankyou. I highly recommend In Gear Driving School. I tried for 2 months to find an instructor for my daughter and 95% of the calls, texts and emails to other business were ignored. When I Googled and found In Gear, Josh was quick to respond and super organised with locking in lessons for my daughter. I would give him 10/10 for everything if completing a review on him and his business. My daughter is extremely shy and anxious so I needed someone gentle, calm and patient and that is exactly what Josh is. My daughter always came home smiling and full of confidence after her lessons

Thanks Josh and Julie, our daughter is completely stoked about getting her licence. Thank you for teaching her well Josh, she has developed good driving skills which she will carry throughout her driving life. I learnt a few new things in the Keys2Drive lesson which helped my own driving and also changed the way I did things with her when she was practicing driving with me .

I cannot possibly say enough that would give Joshua the credit that he deserves, he is an outstanding driving instructor and a true asset to any beginner driver. Joshua is personable, patient, a great communicator and super funny. He has great observation skills - he will tailor his approach to an individual learner working on the specific skills they need to be an effective and safe driver. He was a continued source of encouragement during my time learning how to drive. In fact I don’t think I could’ve done it without him! I couldn’t recommend In Gear Australia highly enough to any beginner
