Fyreguard is a Queensland owned company established in 1984 specialising in Passive Fire Protection. Fyreguard provides services including the supply of Passive Fire Protection products and the design and certification of Passive Fire products and systems. Fyreguard also has a contracting division to meet any supply and installation requirements.
Fyreguard has a fleet of fully trained staff who can provide supply, installation and certification for Passive Fire Protection applications. There are a number of different products and systems which can provide a fire rating to structural steel. It must be remembered however that a tested system must be used and in the case of structural steel the test must be performed on a loaded structural element. Structural Steel is designed to provide rigidity to a building and support high loads without excessive sagging.
Fire rated service penetration seals are used to maintain the fire resistance of a fire separating element (wall, floor or ceiling). They include services such as electrical, mechanical and hydraulic which can vary in size and penetrate different types of fire rated building elements. Services penetrate building elements throughout an entire building.
