Blue Horizon Charters
Enjoy a day on the pristine water game fishing or bottom fishing on the Blue Horizon, a luxury vessel equipped with the latest electronic equipment, 240 V power and air-conditioned. The Blue Horizon is the largest charter vessel in Exmouth with a spacious deck with plenty of room for our passengers.

I would like to thank you for providing us the opportunity to have a fantastic week fishing and exploring the Monte Bello Islands. A number of the boys hadn't previously caught game fish, which they can now cross off their bucket list and with all their photos, even have the proof. I would like to thank you and your crew for a rewarding and enjoying week aboard Blue Horizon.
Services
Corey has been commercial fishing and operating charter boats on the WA coast for 24 years. He started out Cray fishing at the age of 15 and continued in the industry for 14 years. In his off seasons he would work on charter boats at the Abrolhos islands and once finished Cray fishing moved to the charter fishing industry full time for a while.
Day 1 - The boat departs the Exmouth Marina between 7-8am to arrive at the magical Montebello islands at about 6pm. To pass the time, we throw the lures out and trawl for Sailfish, Marlin, Mackerel and Tuna. Stopping off at the Barrow Island we catch some bottom fish to throw on the Barbie for your first night.
Get a group together or join us for our 3-5 day fishing trips up to Long Island, Thevenard Island or Barrow Island. Trips can be from 3 to 5 days. Get onboard and enjoy some of the best fishing grounds the north west has to offer. Bottom bouncing for Red emperor, Rankin Cod, Coral Trout to name a few as well as trolling for Mackerel, Sailfish or have a go at deep dropping for Ruby Snapper, 8 Bar cod or Goldband snapper.
With the continental shelf only 12 kms off the coast, the North West Cape offers some excellent fishing and an abundance of fish species in the waters that surround Exmouth. So why not get out there and discover them for yourself. Exmouth is recognized as a premier game fishing destination.

We had such a wonderful day fishing! We were picked up early at 6:30 and our day continued to be one of the best yet! Callum and Ethan were great! So helpful with every fish caught, we could tell you were super hard working and enthusiastic about what you do! Thanks for being such legends. Rabbit thanks for taking us to such great spots, a fish caught at every one! Even with one of our guys down from sea sickness, we couldn’t fault our day! Loved being out on the ocean and catching great fish. We loved our experience and would do it all over again. 😊

Had a great day, catching a big red emperor certainly helped! Corey tried a number of spots and everyone caught something decent. Callum was busy all day, helping out and ensuring there were no hassles or down time. Pickup and drop off service is a bonus. Definitely recommend.

Pretty average.
I would look elsewhere.
Fish were caught. And they try to keep you on the bite - But...
Not a friendly experience.
No cold drinks ready.
Lunch was just ok. (Make your own wrap)
We had to ask several times for more bait.
Maybe try a smaller operation.
So many people on the boat means a lot of tangles.
12 people at $300 each. $3600
You would expect more.
We went on a whale swim for just a bit more money and had 4 staff running around after us all day. And a full on smorgasbord.

Awesome charter, with all the things you need to have a good trip- skippers ability to find fish , hospitality and good service. Skipper is also an excellent cook, great for the overnight or week long trips (Montebellos or elsewhere). Highly recommend.
Cheers rabbit, great trip.

Had a great day out with Corey and his Deck Hand (sorry, didn’t get his name but he worked his butt off all day) All inclusive day out with tea, coffee, water and lunch provided, also a pick up and drop off service from your accommodation. Everyone on board caught a sizeable amount and the boys fillet your catch for you to take home in bags. Great value for money, Hubby and I both very happy with our day out.

Just done the 5 night Monte Island fishing trip with 7 mates on board Blue Horizon. Had a bloody terrific time catching loads quality fish which we all brought home our limit. Special mention to the skipper,… Rabbit who looked after us not only by putting us onto the fish, but also the quality meals he served up all day, each day. Give Rabbit a whistle if you like to get amongst some great fishing and no stress

Epic charter, good sized vessel and a very knowledgeable skipper who knows how to find fish on the bite. The skipper (Rabbit) is also a good cook. His fish cleaning skills are also excellent- he'll have your goodies cleaned and bagged up in no time.
Excellent boat, skipper and overall experience. Would recommend.

This post isn’t about the fish that were caught. This is about the experience we had. As from the first minute we were picked up from our caravan park from the skipper there was NO information or communication in what we were doing for the day. Get on the boat and to get a conversation out of the skipper and deck hand was harder then getting blood out of a stone. We drove for 3hrs with no snacks or feed at all an the as soon as we start fishing this being 12pm they bring the food out while people are finally catching fish, why not bring it out why travelling? I have been on multiple charters

Was not bad but was not great and it could of been so much better. There is not much of an introduction, told where the life jackets are, tea and coffee making facilities and off we go. Make sure you have breakfast and bring snacks as there is no morning or afternoon tea. Lunch is cold meat and salad and make your own wraps and as it takes about 2 hours to get to a spot and 2 hours back in that takes a lot of the day. The rods are placed out and a buckets of bait to share and that’s about it, fed for yourself. We had to ask for rod cups and there was not enough to go around. We have had such
