Our physiotherapists have experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating sports injuries suffered by athletes confirming in all levels of sport. The largest risk factor associated with many sporting injures is previous injury. Our long-term goal is to prevent the recurrence of the current issue but also to avoid secondary injuries on return to sport.
The prevalence of injury amongst the adolescent population is very high. Culturally in Australia, sport in the younger population is very popular. Unfortunately injuries do occur and need to be managed to minimise chronicity and return the young athlete to sport safely. Pilates exercises consist of more than 500 exercises that are done either on a mat on the floor, or using special exercise equipment. It is a technique that focuses on core strengthening, balance, and flexibility. Pilates based rehabilitation is one of the most effective forms of physiotherapy to treat knee, back, hip, shoulder and repetitive stress injuries.

Absolute joke of a treatment. The physio didn't even ask me to perform a standard test to see how limited my movements were. No proper assessment was done whatsoever.
I was given just a simple massage and heat pack treatment and was then told to "come back in a couple of days".

Michael did a brilliant job of fixing my knee. I hadn't been able to run for more than 2 years. Before seeing Michael I saw two very experienced physios but they weren’t able to help. After I started seeing Michael I was running again within 3 months.
I originally injured my right mcl playing soccer. Another physio at the time was able to sort things out and I was back to sport. A year later I re-injured the same mcl again while snowboarding.
