Situated at 92 Forge Creek Road Bairnsdale, A1 Trailers, which incorporates Bairnsdale Trays & Welding, has been operating since 1999. We build single axle and tandem box trailers, car trailers, plant machinery trailers, stock crates, aluminum canopies & canopy frames as well as repairs to existing trailers.
We also specialise in custom built steel trays, 5th wheeler set ups, steel & aluminum fabrications, repairs and spare part sales. Our factories are fully equipped with all the necessary machinery and tools including both MIG and TIG welders, a 2400mm and 3000mm Guillotine, 3 x Press Brake Folders. We also have a CNC Plasma Cutter and a Multicam CNC Router.

Bairnsdale Trays & Welding are authorised distributors of Flexiglass Canopies and Flexiglass Aluminum Trays. We stock a full range of Canopies, from the Tools of the Trade range of Canopies and Accessories through to the Sporty Gold Class Range. We supply Aluminum Trays and Accessories as well as all Spare Parts.
Custom built aluminium canopies to suit any application from business to recreation. All built in 3mm checkerplate aluminium or 3mm plain aluminium and colour coded to your vehicle. Many options available including roof racks, internal shelving and spare wheel carriers. We work with you throughout the process to make sure that the finished product meets your expectations.

The team at A1 trailers understands good old fashioned customer service. We recently had issues with Vic Roads and the registration of a trailer which came from interstate. We needed some work done quickly on the trailer and the A1 team couldn't have been more accommodating. They looked at our trailer straight away and had the work done within 2 hours saving us another trip to Bairnsalde. I highly recommend A1.

Trailer wheel fell off in middle of town Grand Finals morning. Jason was driving by and stopped. He worked on it for hours and wouldn't accept payment. Incredibly helpful, great advice and able to get it going again. Great local business, highly recommend. Dropped trailer off to sort the main fault out later on.
