Despite me giving the exact parts I needed, they insisted on knowing the car make and model. I gave them the engine. They still insisted on the make and model. I gave it to them, and they gave me the wrong parts.
When I took the parts back in, alongside the parts I needed replaced they were apologetic and finally listened to me saying exactly what I needed, and ordered the correct parts.
Male friends never have this issue, but it seems to be a common problem for all women who do their own car repairs.
