The business has diversified into areas other than just Metal Fabrication as needs in the local areas have changed, we hope to make you one of our many happy customers. We also offer a Welding supervision service for both structural and pressure vessels, we can issue Weld Procedure Qualification records and qualify welders to these procedures.
Over the last 10 years Welding Rod Fabrications has supported local community Groups with training and volunteer work, such as The Ascent Group, Pathfinders, Links To Learning Groups and Backtrack which are all local youth at risk and disability initiatives, by providing support and training in getting these young people into work and also helping them to finish their higher school educations.

Welding Rod Fabrications is located in Armidale, NSW. We can offer a Qualified Welding Supervisor to AS2214 and AS1554 SP. Also Qualified to AS1796 which enables you to contact us if you need any of your staff trained to gain a Pressure Ticket in GMAW, MMAW, TIG or Oxy Welding. Having had an employee complete a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, we were very happy with the services provided by Rodney Day. The fact that the assessments were made on the job means that we didn't have an experienced employee sitting in a classroom for days at a time. Over the course of the certificate, we found Rodney to be friendly and efficient, and he communicated all expectations and deliverables very clearly.
