The woomera or spear thrower made from Mulga, Corkwood, Snappy Gum or Supple Jack woods. Attached to the tip of the woomera with Spinifex resin is a barb to which the spear hooks onto. The base of the woomera is a grip moulded from Spinifex resin. The woomera is used as leverage in launching the spear.

There was a 7 foot tall Kangaroo human hybrid at this fine establishment. Quite the extraordinary specimen.
When I was a child, I always dreamt of being a mermaid, but that dream remained dormant, in the back of my mind for years to come. But today, I had my first glimpse into my future; a fish lady materialized in front of my eyes in my bath tub. I was shocked to see her, but also pleased, as she would take me to the mermaid kingdom! She told me, "If you wish to be a mermaid, you must drink the water and the audio." To which I responded, "The audio?" And she evaporated back into my tub. Sad day

I read the horror reviews! Really was worried.
Truthfully, Shane and Bobbie were great. They were friendly and necessarily efficient, being that this is an RAAF town.
My ensuite cabin was dated but clean. Cannot complain!
The drinks at the bar are TRULY the cheapest in Australia.
I've given 4 stars because it's not a luxe place but it's here, clean, tidy and friendly. Local history knowledge is great also. Previous owner Bob showed up and his knowledge and passion for the town is excellent.

A really awful place, managed by a very rude man whose only interest seems to be opening the bar.
We booked both a caravan site and a room. The bed was so uncomfortable that we took the mattress off and slept on an air bed.
The bathroom was dirty.
The entire place is badly run down.
Half of the amenities are out of order.
Just don't go there.

The attitude of the male person we spoke with in the office can only suggests he needs another calling in live. He surely hasn't heard of hospitality and word of mouth.
If it wasn't for our late arrival time we would have done as a sign suggested and stayed on the roadside.
The toilets we were closest to, were overdue for demolition. Inside was patched up, daggy, not to standard, no screen on the window and you closed the door by sliding the sleeper across to hold it because it is broken.
While in Woomera and talking with locals, we didn't find one person with a good word for him.
Suggest go

Paid and didn't stay. There was only one other caravan and one motorhome in the entire park. Hoffy put me in the site right next to the other caravan. This site , along with most others is on a sideways tilt. As I was only staying overnight and wanting to get away early, I couldn't easily level the van. I
immediately returned to the office and said the site was not suitable and could I have my money back. "No refunds" and pointed to a sign that said 'no refunds on bookings' I said that I didn't book and this rude person then pointed to a little scrawl in texta on the bottom corner of the sign

Truly hope the owner finds peace and happiness somewhere along the way because this was the worst customer treatment I have ever experienced.
We were a company of four cars all packed up and moved away from the camp spot at 10 am. Overstayed 30 minutes for a shower (only me) and got yelled at and threatened that if we don’t leave on the spot he would charge us another night. The camp site was pretty much empty. I understand it was not ideal but his behaviour was totally unacceptable. The bathroom I used only had one working shower out of 4, and I was not able to lock the door. The camp kitchen
