Would not recommend this store to beginner guitar players. Bought a Fender guitar which has not been set-up or checked by the store. Guitar had 1st and 2nd strings swapped. 1st string was quieter than other strings when played through an amplifier, this was because bridge pickup was much lower on one side. Guitar had a lot of fret buzz, neck required adjustments. Had to bring this guitar back to the store later, where it was quickly adjusted. After that, had to bring it to another person who sets-up guitars. Guitar now plays well, but I had to spend a lot of time after the purchase to get guitar

The Myaree shop used to put new strings on the guitar or offer you new strings if you purchased a guitar . They do not do that anymore . So there is a loss of services being offered . Not that nice taking a guitar home with old strings and not being set up.
Mega replied saying this was very unusual . But the last three guitars I got from there were not set up or given new strings.
So it is the norm . They offered strings after this post but it is a bit late for that

Best place to buy instruments hands down. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the equipment available for demo and for show is wide, and it’s so beginner friendly. If you’re a novice you won’t feel talked down to - the team here is really stand out. 10/10 would recommend this place over any other music store in Perth.

Bought my dream bass from the online Mega Music store. I bought the Fender Duff Mckagan Reissue bass. First time purchasing from Mega Music and won’t be my last! Shout out to Ashley (online customer service person) for helping me out. Before purchasing the bass, I asked for more pictures and information relating to the bass. She replied to all emails with the information and pictures I asked for. She was very flexible with setting a better price for me and was patient with answering everything I wanted to know. The bass it’s self is amazing. Have been playing it everyday for the last 3-4 weeks
