Against our better judgement, we purchased a house and land package in Muswellbrook, NSW through Paul. He had full insight of our finances and he understood that we were looking to save something for our retirement. He raved about the area and told us that he had bought 4 blocks of land there to build on. It was the worst investment we ever made. Within a year of building the land value dropped sharply and has never recovered. We have had to hang onto the place because if we sell we will be at least $100,000 out of pocket. Would never take advice from Portfolio again.
