Established in 1987, the company is family owned and run, and wholly West Australian. As a factory direct manufacturer and wholesaler, SFM has been able to serve many satisfied customers Australia wide. Founded by Am and Ky Nguyen, the journey to opening the business starts from humble beginnings. Combining their respective skills, they were able to design, assemble, and sell their first piece of furniture - a Jarrah dining table.
From there, SFM was born, and has since progressed on to be an industry leader. With contemporary designs, and a forward-thinking approach, the company has won multiple Furniture Industry Association of Australia (now ACFA) awards, as well as West Australian Furniture of the Year Awards, for crafting elegant, lifelong furniture and cabinetry.

SFM is an award winning furniture & cabinetry manufacturer based in Perth, Western Australia, and was established in 1987. Our designers and craftsmen work with Marri, Jarrah, and other timbers to create exclusive, timeless pieces. At SFM, we design & manufacture all furniture and cabinetry at our workshop in Malaga, Perth.
Award winning local manufacturer, crafting timeless pieces of furniture & cabinetry since 1987. Bevel edges to the Marri carcass, combined with a white lacquer drawer and internal dividers. This returning client specifically requested light coloured timber for their dresser, which shows off some beautiful, distinct grain.
We understand the importance of people's individual tastes and requirements and offer full customisation. Working alongside our customer's continually produces outstanding results. Clients can deal with us directly, ensuring absolute clarity throughout the process. This is further enhanced with the aid of 3D CAD modelling, which allows clear communication between parties through draft images.
This beautiful, architecturally designed residence required manufacturing and customisation services to complement its already stunning interior. Working closely with the client, a local architect, SFM carried out the installation of the complete kitchen, from cabinetry to the bench tops, and created several bespoke furniture pieces to suit different living spaces.

We totally recommend Sunrise Furniture Manufacturing. Excellent furniture beautifully made here in WA from WA timbers, and sensibly priced. Over time we have bought all of our living and dining furniture from them, and they will certainly be our first port of call should we need any more. Importantly, the customer service and after-sales service is also top-notch. Definitely worth the trip to the Malaga factory!
