Services
Tony Finn joined the Royal Australian Army Dental Corps in 1987 before retiring in 2007 after serving 20 years. Tony was a Dental Assistant for 3 years, a Dental Hygienist for 4 years and a Dental Technician for 16 years. He spent 4 years teaching Dental Technology at the Australian Defence Force Dental School and completed the Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics at RMIT University in Melbourne to become a Dental Prosthetist (DP).
A Dental Prosthetist (DP) is a qualified and skilled member of the dental profession. They are the denture professionals and as such are the only registered health providers specifically trained to construct, fit and maintain dentures and all other professional denture care services.
All DP's are required to be qualified as dental technicians before becoming eligible to be trained as dental prosthetists so they all have the ability to actually construct your denture.Unlike when you visit a dentist, the doctor simply takes the impressions and sends it to someone sitting in a laboratory that has no idea of your hopes and wishes for your new dentures.

I went to see Tony for a partial top denture. He explained the pros and cons of procedures available, which enabled me to make an informed decision on which procedure suited me. Was not expecting my new teeth before Christmas and I did say there was no rush, so was pleasantly surprised when I got a call today that they were ready to go. Kept me updated all the way and very professional in his dealings with me. Can smile now without gaps and very happy with how they look. Now I just need to get used to them 😬

Tony from Diamond Denture Studio is second to none. He came highly recommended to me and I can see why. He made the process of getting a partial plate easy and explained the options so I could make an informed decision. Reception staff are lovely, the wait time for appointments was short and my tooth only took a few weeks to make. It fit perfectly first time, is comfortable and I couldn't be happier.
