Dr. Bryan Bluhm grew up in Newcastle, NSW where he initially completed his electrical trade and worked as an Electrician for several years prior to deciding on a career change to dentistry which would allow him a greater opportunity to indulge his meticulous nature.
Upon gaining entry to Griffith University he made the move to the sunny Gold Coast where Bryan went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science followed by a Master's of Dentistry, in which he achieved the Chancellor's Award for Academic Excellence.Bryan always strives to renew his patients' faith in dentists by providing a gentle and understanding approach to every procedure.

Akiyo Kleeman is one of our highly experienced Oral Health Therapists here at Oasis Dental Studio on the Gold Coast. Akiyo completed her Bachelor of Health Science in Oral Health at University of Queensland in 2005. She feels very blessed to have found a career she is so passionate about.
During her high school years at All Saints, her careers councillor found her a weekend and school holiday job as a Dental Assistant and has since been in the industry for 20 years.Akiyo has had many years of experience with treating patients with severe gag reflex and dental anxiety or phobia. She aims to make patients feel comfortable during their regular dental visits and hopes to turn it into a visit that patients look forward to.

As a proud Queenslander, Elisha has spent most of her life in her hometown of Brisbane up until 2017, where she moved to Adelaide to study the Advanced Diploma of Oral Health and then onto the Bachelor of Oral Health at the University of Adelaide. Prior to her move, Elisha had spent 6 years as a Dental Assistant where she established a true passion for dentistry and subsequently driving her ambition to become an Oral Health Therapist.

Dr Matthew Hedge was exceptional to work with. He was able to address my functional and cosmetic concerns seamlessly and made the whole process for myself very easy. I appreciated his meticulous nature and the time he took to explore all my possible options. I had some major dentistry work done at the Palm Beach branch of Oasis Dental after being overseas for many years – two replacement bridges, six new veneers and a difficult root canal job. Dr Braden Prestidge did most of the work and I was impressed by his attention to detail and the quality of his work. Dr Luiz Rosa did the root canals and he provided the same level of professionalism. Both doctors explained everything clearly as they went along. Oasis have three branches on the Gold Coast, so if there is a procedure that another dentist has more experience in, they won’t hesitate to bring

I’ve had a LOT of dentists in my time, and I have never felt a compelling enough need to write a review – but my experience with Dr Matt Hedge was just an overall standout. The quality of the work he did for me, along with his excellent “chair-side” manner is something that would make it easy to recommend him to anyone interested in having a consistent practitioner for your oral healthcare needs. There’s an attention to detail that comes through in the finish of his work and beyond what you go in for, he is likely to give you very helpful feedback for consideration without you feeling

Dave at Oasis Dental did such an amazing job at transforming my smile with Invisalign. You can tell he is a perfectionist! His dental assistant and receptionist are such an asset to this team. They are so warm and welcoming, making you feel relaxed and comfortable straight away. I could not speak more highly of my experience and recommend Dave to anyone thinking of getting invisalign.

Yesterday I can say that I had the first POSITIVE dental experience in my whole 26 years! I don’t dislike dentists, and don’t have anything wrong with my teeth, but they just haven’t been a good experience.
I had been sussing out Oasis Dental for a while, and the team all looked really friendly. When I called to enquire, Moana spoke to me on the phone and she was so lovely and was really speaking to me like a friend. I didn’t feel like just a number. Moana helped me make the appointment, choose the best dentist and even change my appointment again.

I recently finished an Invisalign treatment with Dr David Ashford and Nurse Kayla. I am incredibly happy with the result and enjoyed the entire experience as staff were always welcoming and friendly. David went above and beyond to give me the best results and was extremely professional and caring in demeanour. Kayla was lovely and made me feel at ease and comfortable thought every appointment. I could not recommend their team more highly.

I came from Canberra to see Dr Matt to perfect my smile after having Invisalign. I’d firstly like to commend his bedside manner, he took a great deal of time to understand what I was wanting and gave me a detailed understanding on how we can achieve it. Dr Matt, his assistant Gabby and reception staff all went above and beyond to ensure I left with a perfect smile, Matt & Gabby even stayed behind one evening to perfect a few minor adjustments before leaving back for Canberra. Secondly I’d like to mention his craftsmanship, I had some shaping & dental bonding to my very worn and misshapen teeth

I had my upper 6 teeth composite bonded by Dr Matt and he was absolutely amazing! I'm so so happy with them. His assistant Gabby was so good and helped explain the process. Their receptionist Bianca was so nice and accommodating with appointments and was so warm and friendly. Going to the dentist can seem overwhelming and intimidating but everyone there is just so friendly and the environment is so calming! Easy 5 stars!!!
