1. Identify any trees, palms, branches, stumps that require removal and/or pruning and record their details. Information like species, whether it is dead or alive, and the height, will be required in any applications required by your local council. Some trees can be removed without application. You should refer to your local council's tree perseveration order to see which species are exempt.
Clear any trees on your property within 10 metres of a home without seeking council approval (or otherwise); and. Clear any underlying vegetation (excluding trees) within 50 metres of a home without seeking council approval. The NSW Rural Fire Service has an online tool that allows you to check if a property is in the entitlement area.
All the tree consultants at Sydney Tree Removals have recognised Australian qualifications which include a Certificate III, Diploma or higher in Arboriculture. They use the Quantified Tree Risk Assessment method of tree management and reporting. This means they consider the risk of harm from tree failure in the context of land usage.
Types of mulch will vary from primarily leaf mulch to chipped wood. It is best to call and discuss availability with one of our consultants. Mulch may take the form of mostly leaf and twig material, palm mulch, chipped bark and timber from both native trees and introduced species, or a combination of these.
Pruning can be dangerous work, especially when reducing the height of a tree or thinning a canopy where there is deadwood. Sydney Tree Removals have the equipment, skills and insurance to ensure all circumstances are managed effectively and safely.
A small job may only require the use of manual tools such as rope saws, pole pruners and portable buck saws, however when tackling larger jobs our experienced arborists are just as comfortable handling a chainsaw from a cherry-picker.The notable difference between using an expert and tackling these kinds of jobs yourself, is the safety and efficiency of the work.

Chris and the team removed trees from my small inner city courtyard and trimmed the remainder without fuss, mess or any problems. They were so courteous, it was a competitive price, and they came exactly when they promised.
We had an Ironbark removed (after approval), it was in a difficult position but they handled it with ease. They then cleaned up and left the place pristine.
