Services
Synergy Physiotherapy and Pilates has been established in the Brisbane CBD for over 15 years. This practice is located in the heart of the Brisbane CBD - a short walk from Central Station and many bus stops in the city. We assess and treat various musculoskeletal cases including office related issues/ injuries, sports injuries, pre and post-op management and other general musculoskeletal injuries.
Whether it's an initial consultation or a subsequent consultation, our physiotherapists will listen to what you have to say to formulate a goal for each session and attaining overall results. During the initial consultation, a thorough history of your injury or condition will be taken followed by a physical assessment and treatment.
Clinical Pilates is a series of gentle muscle strengthening exercises formulated to improve muscle control, flexibility, coordination and balance as well as alignment and breathing. Clinical Pilates was first developed by physiotherapists and is an adaptation of traditional pilates.
The basic ideas of traditional pilates were built on to help devise a program suitable for each individual to help with rehabilitation and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries.

Born in Japan, Tad's family moved to Cairns, Far North Queensland when he was young. Tad did most of his schooling in Cairns before moving to Brisbane to commence his university studies. After completing his Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree at University of Queensland in 2003, Tad began his career as a physiotherapist in a busy private clinic in Warner.

I had injured my back while practicing dance choreography and it was really painful. I usually don't get injured at all so this worried me quite a bit. Tad is a magician! He thoroughly investigated the problem and I was back to 100% in just a week. Thank you so much - I know who to go to if the need ever comes up again!

I have been using this place for over 2 years and I have back issues. Not only it is convenient but they have amazing support staff and amazing Physio staff. Ted especially is a magician when it comes to treating my back pain. I would have tried more than 15 different Physio in Brisbane but no one is as good as Ted.

Jake has been helping me recover and strengthen my foot's ligaments. He has been amazing focusing both on the immediate pain recovery as well as equiping me with exercises to strengthen it long term, preventing reinjury.
Also note to Bupa First members :) I am an independent. So I have gone there 5 times this year and still haven't paid a gap fee yet.
