Along with my fiance, I worked with Evan to design and produce a custom engagement ring. I had the original diamond, and the vision was to add a hexagonal halo and a custom, accented band. Evan made our complicated vision come to life remotely through great coordination. We live in Florida, so everything was done via emails, phone calls, and videos. Still, the process was seamless, even through the pandemic (and the addition of a new deJonghe)!

I came into deJonghe with only a vague idea of the engagement ring that I wanted to buy, and very little else. However, Evan, Dennis, and the rest of the staff were so incredibly helpful in guiding me through this difficult and sometimes stressful process. They were so knowledgeable and friendly, and created the perfect ring for my fiancee. I also requested a quick turnaround on completing the ring, as I had a deadline for when i needed it by, and they simply said 'no worries, we'll get it done'. And that is exactly what they did, no questions asked. I could not give deJonghe a higher recommendation

I had my first rings made by Dennis almost 40 years ago and I still love them. Since then, my husband has worked with Dennis and Evan to make me another ring and some earrings. I have been a customer since Dennis first opened on Caroline Street. He and his family make me feel welcome and right at home every time I come in the store. He allowed me to have control of the design process while also providing the necessary professional knowledge and input to design a ring my wife loved. The first time I had custom pieces made by Dennis was in 1991 and the results were fantastic. Then again last year he made a wedding set for me that is absolutely beautiful. I needed a little alteration done and that was no problem. If you want custom jewelry made or altered, there is no better place. I live in North Georgia and it is well worth it to have Dennis and Evan in Upstate NY make pieces for me.
