I've dealt with many yards over the years and consider this as one of the best. The office and yard staff are very friendly, patient and professional. They were honest about a mistake I had made which meant THEY owed ME more money. They even made the effort to call me about it after I'd left the yard. I find such honesty rare these days. Great company.

I have visited a dozen times over the past decade with car-boot loads. To avoid disappointment like other Reviewers, I suggest phoning for prices in advance; sort scrap especially magnetic metals from non-magnetic; and ensure your steel weighs in excess of 500kg. Also, JK no longer payout cash. I would rate the yard staff as Five Stars - very helpful and friendly.

I'll never go back, got ripped off by this guys, went there on a saturday, the guy told me copper price was $2.50 then he gave me a doc and told me to go back on monday as he didn't have enough money, and said I could negociate a better rate with the boss based on the quantity I had.
Went back on monday with my paperwork to collect my money, the boss tells me the price is $2.30 non negociable.
Never again, I'll put it in the bin but not give it them guys.
