Chinese Medicine is one of the oldest systems of medicine in the world, with a history of over 5000 years. It is based on the holistic theory that good health is a product of balance within the body and mind, and balance between man and the environment in which he lives.

Chinese Medicine theory teaches that we all have energy flowing through the body, called Qi, and that any blockage to this flow of energy or Qi may eventually manifest as illness.Chinese Medicine is somewhat unique in that it places great emphasis on the prevention of disease. In ancient China, Chinese doctors were paid to keep their patients well.
Non-Bacterial Prostatitis, also called Prostadynia or CPPS is a treatable, chronic pelvic pain syndrome in men. I have been treating this condition for the last 17 years with acupuncture and herbal medicine. Underlying this is a burnt-out and deficient body that holds the pain condition for months to years.
The primary aim of pre-conceptive care is to promote the best environment in your womb to prepare for pregnancy. Just like a farmer prepares his soil for seedlings, the more rich, chemical free and alive the soil is the better the plants will grow and the healthier the harvest. In Chinese medicine, pre-conception care looks at you as a whole.
Stress : Stress lowers adrenal levels and natural corticosteroids (CS). This sets off a chain of events decreasing Vitamin B5 and 6, Vitamin c, Magnesium and Zinc. This Decrease in natural CS leads to an increase of histamine thus a greater incidence of inflammation and heat in the testes. Over heating of the testes (work exposure, hot baths/saunas, tight underwear, hot body constitution, varicocele) effects sperm quality.
