Over the last 24 years, LifePsychles has become a well-established business in Bowral, the Southern Highlands and the Goulburn area. We provide Clinical Psychology and Occupational Therapy services to the community, all of which can be accessed by way of a doctor's referral. We aim to provide excellence in allied-health to promote, develop and enhance healthy body, healthy mind and healthy relations, through all of life's transitions.
Services
LifePsychles was established in 1993 as a Psychology Practice servicing Bowral and the Southern highlands. Andrew Schmidt has over 30 years' experience in providing clients assistance in overcoming depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, work injury, pain management, testing and assessment services.
Our psychology services provide clients with assistance in overcoming depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and work injury, as well as providing pain management, testing and assessment services and child counselling. Consultations are offered at both our rooms in Bowral and in Goulburn.
Separate to this, we also provide home-visit structured Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) programs, a program for children under 5 focusing on overcoming separation anxiety, and a program primarily focusing on helping the elderly overcome worry and low mood.Bachelor of Arts, with Post-Graduate Honours in Psychology, at the University of Queensland.

Our Occupational Therapists primarily serve the Veteran community under the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA). This includes home assessments for personal alarm systems, falls prevention assessments, pressure sore prevention, equipment to help with mobility and transfers, and home modifications to the built environments, such as the addition of grab rails and ramps.
