Humans are a funny lot. We're driven by our emotions. We're often impulsive, irrational and totally self-absorbed. We're also naturally curious creatures who are hardwired to the listening and sharing of stories. Whether it's a product, a service, or a start up business you're wanting to get off the ground, the right words and tonality can bring your business story to life.
My role as a content creator is to discover what makes your business awesome, and then to work out the best way to talk about it. The aim (always) is to ignite the imagination of your readers through the telling of an authentic story. It might be a blog that imparts useful information, a newsletter, developing fresh website content, a direct mail letter - it's all business storytelling.

I finished a three-year Communications Degree (majoring in Journalism) only to realise I didn't want to be a journo. Instead, I fell into in the fabulous hurly burly of advertising in the 90s and naughties. Back then, there was no internet. We worked in small creative teams and developed concepts for TV, radio, press, billboards, bussides, direct mail and the like (and we'd have lots of face to face meetings with our clients).
Every business is different, every project is different. So it's my job as a copywriter to understand what it is you're trying to achieve, and then to write in a tone of voice that's relevant to your audience, and has some strategy behind it. Regardless of the communication channel, there's always a need for engaging and strategic content.
