Engineered Wood Flooring is a type of hardwood flooring which is composed of multiple layers of timber bonded together and then finished with a layer of hardwood lamella. The top or 'wear' layer of the plank is often of a similar depth to that of a solid board above the tongue providing an equal sandable surface.
The versatility of this unfinished product means you can apply any type of finish and stain to create your own look. This is the type of flooring solution has become extremely popular in our marketplace as it is more cost-effective than its equivalent in solid timber flooring and does not encounter height related issues with both new builds and renovations.
Parquetry comes in block form. Parquetry provides many options of combining block patterns, size and species to transform oors into an outstanding feature. They can be laid to various sub-oors, and similar to strip timber oors can easily be rejuvenated throughout their life. All parquetry patterns are not manufactured but are cut and installed on site by expert tradesman - some popular patterns are shown here.
Herringbone wood floor pattern is among the most popular looks for already many centuries. That is right, the history of herringbone pattern brings us back to 17th century, however today this wooden flooring type have enjoyed a few improvements. In fact, herringbone wood floors are preferred in many buildings and from people with different styles and interior designs at their places.
Oak parquetry finished onsite comes in both solid and engineered in a variety of sizes and thicknesses it also comes in a variety of surface textures. Unfinished ( Raw ) "Solid oak parquetry" and "Engineered Oak parquetry" has the versatility of applying a variety of different waxes, oils, polyurethanes and a multitude of staining Systems.

We have recently used Awesome Timber Floors to redo all of our timber flooring. After a recent renovation we had different timbers and marks from old cabinets that no longer existed. From start to finish the entire team were AWESOME. Cant thank Dan and his team enough for the suggestions and knowledge they have. Josh turned up every day and nothing was too much trouble. Extremely happy with our timber floors. We have dealt with Dan & Megan twice now, original installation 10 years ago, and recently to lighten the same original floors as wanted to brighten up our house. We are constantly getting asked who did our floors as everyone who sees them loves them. They were excellent to deal with from the get go and I would highly recommend their service & product.
