Established in 1979, Consolidated Plastics is a privately owned company and maintains its status as one of Perth's premium custom injection moulders, servicing customers throughout Australia and overseas. With the latest high end CAD design software and a sophisticated in-house toolroom, our experienced and friendly team can take your idea from concept through to finished product.
After an initial consultation, our design engineers will work with your ideas, thoughts and requirements, and develop a design to meet your product brief. Using the latest Siemens NX8 CAD/CAM design tools, our expertise in plastic materials selections, and knowledge of the plastic injection moulding process, we can advise you on the development of your new product.
To evaluate the form, fit and function of the component we can provide you with both Rapid prototypes as well as CNC machined models. This is the most effective and affordable way to test for suitability, avoid costly design and production errors and identify if further refinement and modifications are required before commencing with mould making and final manufacture.
Consolidated Plastics has over thirty years experience in the industry and one of the best equipped tool rooms in Western Australia. With three and five axis DMG CNC machines, the latest Siemens NX CAD/CAM software, conventional mills, lathes and grinders, our highly skilled toolmakers are able to manufacture high quality precision tools consistently and cost effectively.
Injection moulding is the most common and preferred manufacturing process for producing high volumes of parts. We specialise in the moulding of plastic components from a few grams up to 4.5 kilograms and can accommodate both long and short manufacturing runs.
