Acupuncture and Chinese medicine is well studied in the treatment of a variety of diseases. Here are our terms and conditions that every patient should be aware of when having treatment at Cosm Natural Health. Please note: Hugh Hayward is no longer registered with AHPRA and is not recognised under the title of 'acupuncturist' or 'Chinese medicine practitioner'. Those who want to claim health fund rebates, please book in for acupuncture with Emily Whitelock.
We may use massage, cupping, gua sha, chi nei tsang abdominal massage, or electro-acupuncture to compliment the acupuncture and moxibustion depending on how your disharmony presents on the day. We use a combination of Japanese and Chinese style needling and diagnostic techniques, because every one of us needs that individual touch.
To compliment the treatment, and to take the healing home with you, we might prescribe you Chinese herbs. These can come in pill, capsule or raw dried forms depending on what suits you. Health rebates are available for some private health funds. This only includes the price of the consult, not herbal medicine.

After a week of business and the stress that life throws at you, an infrared sauna looking out into the trees is something my partner and I have been loving treating ourselves too. The calmest environment to step into and feel a sense of presence and quiet.. I couldn't recommend this space enough!! if you have been thinking about it but haven't pushed yourself to, you really should!! We are also yet to try the other services the guys offer. :)

I’d just recently started having acupuncture treatments with Emily when online options became available. I wasn’t sure what an online acupuncture treatment would look like, but I’m loving them! The online consults go into a lot of depth, and the treatment plans and instructions are so detailed and helpful to keep referring back to. Receiving my herbs and self acu pack in the mail has been amazing too - I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how effective and relaxing it’s been to have my own home treatments. I’d highly recommend online treatment if you could do with some extra support for

As a health scientist I love finding practitioners that really understand the human body. I have been to many acupuncturist and by far this beautiful family run business are the best. Emily and Hugh are highly skilled. Emily used a multifaceted approach to address my health concerns, I felt cared for and am confident that my health is in the best hands. Make sure you also check out their infra red sauna and the gorgeous tea they provide its just such a great experience all round.

Such a beautiful clinic for healing. I have had a few treatments with both Hugh & Em and they both work on an intuitive level. They helped me with my health concerns and found the underlying root cause to my pain which then after consistent treatments was all resolved. They are both beautiful and genuine human beings with a warmth to there service.

I have been putting up with sciatica for a while and have had some accupuncture treatment that did give some temporary relief. However, I started treatment here with Hugh and have had great results.
I am now free of sciatic pain.
Also, Hugh was able to successfully treat my carpal tunnel syndrome as well as I have had great relief for a ongoing sinus problem using Chinese medicine powder.
My overall quality of life has greatly improved. Thanks Hugh. 🙂
