Dental health is very important for both the longevity and comfort of your mouth. Things like ill-fitting dentures and broken teeth can have all have a negative impact on your dental health. They can cause discomfort, and in some instances severe pain. At the Dental Implant and Specialist Centre, our Gold Coast dental surgeons specialise in correcting issues with your teeth.
Missing, loose or decayed teeth and ill-fitting dentures and plates are more than just annoying. Often, they are the source of significant discomfort and, at times, even severe pain. Worse still, they can develop into more serious dental problems, if left untreated. For this reason, it is important to address these issues as soon as possible.
If you suffer from acute pain in your face, mouth, or ear, you might be feeling the effects of your wisdom teeth trying to move into position in your mouth. Wisdom teeth (third molar teeth) are the last teeth to erupt into the mouth and because of a mismatch between our jaw size (too small) and the tooth size (too large) are often impacted (having insufficient space in the jaw to take up a healthy trouble free position behind the other teeth).
Teeth discolouration and surface staining is a very common complaint and affects many people of all ages (from 20 to 60 years). Lifestyle habits can readily contribute to the discolouration of your teeth. Social habits like drinking coffee and red wine, to smoking and age-related loss of tooth structure (enamel - the outer white layer of the teeth wears away with age exposing the underlying more yellow appearance of dentine).

I was referred by the incredibly kind receptionist and dentist at Burleigh Smiles to see Dr Darren Tite.
if you are seeking an understanding and kind professional, DO NOT go here.
He will denounce your concerns and provide no reassurance for your concern even when you pay $350 for an appointment because he "doesn't think anything needs to be done" and doesn't take notice of the feelings of the patient. He shows little to no empathy and reassurance and is cold and stubborn; generally just everything you should NOT be looking for in a specialist.
Not to mention he would not even write me a scan

I have just started the process for a second dental implant with Dr Tite and his staff. Once again, the information provided and services that have followed, have been exactly what I expected. The procedure was explained step by step including potential sensations that I might expect. It was great to have that level of detail. Post-operative information was excellent and it has been a pleasure dealing with Tash at Reception. In a couple of months the next stage will be completed. A great result once again.

Having cracked a tooth on an olive, I just had an extraction and implant thingy performed yesterday by Dr Darren Tite (at quite short notice thanks). Today everything feels fine, better than I had hoped for! Pleasantly surprised to receive a gift basket just now to my home, courtesy of Dr Tite and my regular dentist Dr Rutherford. A nice touch.
