Dynamic Hydro Excavations was built to resolve an issue repeatedly experienced in the building and civil construction industries. For almost two decades, company Director, Andy Smith, witnessed time and again, contractors struggle to locate the delicate and expensive connecting underground services when they delivered their works.
Andy knew there had to be an easier, more accurate, safe and less harmful way and so he launched Dynamic Excavations and pioneered the Hydro Excavation solution. Established in 2003 on the Gold Coast, Dynamic Hydro Excavations had two men, two vacuum excavation trucks and a shed. Since then we've grown into a high performing business, comprised of smart operating procedures, over 50 pieces of quality plant and equipment and a skilled, loyal team, based out of our five key locations on the east coast of Australia.
Following Government regulations in regards to hygiene safety, we are able to offer efficient disinfecting that reduces downtime for high-transit outdoor working environments and public spaces. The vacuum truck is a self contained unit which uses high pressure water at approx. 2,000 - 4000 psi to break down the soil, while a vacuum pump removes the soil into holding tank on the truck.
Hydro Excavation (also known as vacuum excavation, vac truck excavation or suction truck) is our speciality. Becoming increasingly popular, Hydro Excavation uses this technique to safely excavate in situations where normal excavation machinery cannot be used. This non-destructive form of digging can remove almost any kind of surface without damaging existing infrastructures.

Dynamic Excavations are leading innovators in drain and pipe cleaning equipment. Blockages in drains are a common issue and our expert team provide fleet with Jetter heads equipped to clear these blockages. Our combination units spray high-pressure water into drains or pipes to clear out any blockages and then the vacuum excavation module sucks out the debris, water and roots that the Jetter has loosened and dislodged.
