DancEdge Emerald is a not-for-profit community run and staffed local organisation catering to the dance needs of Emerald and its surrounds. The Centre is run by a Committee of volunteers, all striving to ensure the strength and growth of DancEdge Emerald for the benefit of present and future families.
At DancEdge Emerald our classes are curriculum based and fully inclusive so that the joy of dance can be experienced by all. Our highly experienced Dance Co-ordinator leads our terrific team of enthusiastic teachers who believe that dancers must be encouraged to grow their self confidence as well as their dance skills.

Emerald Dance Centre trading as DancEdge Emerald is an incorporated association which was established in 2001. DancEdge Emerald has also previously been known as Emerald Ballet Scholarship Fund Committee and Emerald Ballet School which had been operational in Emerald since the 1960's.
In 2013, Emerald Dance Centre branched out to incorporate 'Barcy Edge', our dance school at Barcaldine, and we subsequently changed our Emerald dance name to 'DancEdge Emerald'.Unfortunately we no longer run a dance school at Barcaldine, however our Emerald Dance school still trades under the name "DancEdge Emerald".

DancEdge Emerald is proud to be a not-for-profit community run and staffed local organisation catering to the dance needs of Emerald and its surrounds. Our Management Committee is made up of voluntary DancEdge Emerald members (dance mums and dads like yourselves) who are committed to the growth of the centre for present and future dancers and their families.
Please note that the office is manned on a part-time basis and hours are subject to change at any given time. The office does not operate on Public Holidays. If the office is unattended, please call 4982 2732 and leave a message on the answering machine and we will attend to your query as soon as is possible.
