At In Touch Physiotherapy Mooroolbark and Ringwood, we focus on our patients from the moment they walk in the door. Our physiotherapists are highly trained and we pride ourselves in providing comprehensive treatment for a wide range of conditions. Our physiotherapists attend continuing education on a regular basis, which allows us to keep up to date with the latest physiotherapy research to aid in treatment.
The first thing you'll receive is a warm welcome from our receptionist. One of our physiotherapists will assess and, diagnose your condition, and then explain to you what's wrong. They will then propose and discuss an individualised treatment plan with you. We will use treatment techniques to best suit your condition and we may provide you with exercises to perform at home to help assist your recovery.

Services
At In Touch Physiotherapy, our 'hands on approach' gives our patients the best chance at achieving full recovery. We use techniques including joint mobilisation with physiological mobilisation, as well as accessory mobilisation (movements that patients cannot achieve on their own).
Mobilisation can help increase the range of movement of your joint, modulate pain, reduce muscular spasm through nocioceptive stimulation, and help treat joint dysfunction. We utilise dry needling techniques, using 'non-injection' needles, as used in the practice of acupuncture. This stimulates specific reactions in the target tissue for therapeutic effect.

With our "hands on approach" we have seen great results in treating Lower Back Pain, Neck Pain, Headaches, Ligament Sprains, Muscular Strains and many other conditions. We also have physiotherapists that have had special training, including paediatrics, women's health / continence and pelvic floor rehabilitation as well as Chronic Pain Management.
However, when it comes to exercise, there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all approach. Our fully qualified, Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) can design an exercise program totally suited to you, to ensure you exercise safely and efficiently, with your goals and challenges in mind. An AEP is an allied health professional with a four-year equivalent university degree.

I was having trouble with my lower back for months, came to see these guys and they really looked after me from the moment I stepped in. I felt like they really cared and wanted to see me feeling better. They recommended meds and stretches for me to help manage the pain. Very satisfied and now pain free!

I'd have to disagree with that opinion as when I was seeing Travis their i tried telling him things in regards to my lumbar spine and it was if it had fallen on deaf ears, every time I went to see Travis all he would do is to get me to lay on my side as painfully enough as it was and all he did was put suction cups on my back for half an hour after that he told me to sit up my misses would help put my t-shirt back on and that was the end of the session did absolutely nothing to my back except my my pain more excruciating not happy with their service

I’ve seen both Alexis and Travis for a variety of issues, from ongoing lower back problems spanning 6 years, through to hand rehab and the usual aches and pains from work / weekend fun and games.
I’ve seen many physios in my time and never have I felt so trusting than I do of this team.
Always great service and a clean and professional environment. 👍

I saw Alexis today for an extremely painful back that I have had to take time off work for. I left not only with no improvement in pain, but with no helpful advice. After a few questions he put an interferential machine on my back and left the room for 10 minutes. He then gave me exercises to do to 'manage my issue in the long term' and blamed bad posture for my extreme pain. This is not a chronic issue, it started two days ago, and I explained that I do all but one of these exercises daily as it is. I did not need to spend $60 to get what I already had for free. After expressing that I was looking
