Keith Finch founded Rapid Haulage with one rigid tray top in 1977. By 1994, the fleet had grown to 10 trucks, and in 1998 Keith bought KRW Meat Carriers, a refrigerated transport company. In 2005 Rapid Haulage's refrigerated division expanded with the acquisition of Tiss and Haines Refrigerated Transport (now trading as Rapid Refrigerated).
Rapid Haulage runs a current fleet of more than 100 vehicles, including b-doubles, sideloader's, tipping skells, refrigerated pans, tautliners, forklifts from 2.5 ton to 40 ton capacity and utes. We transport dry, liquid, refrigerated, palletised and containerised goods.
Our depot located at 214 Victoria Road, Largs Bay SA 5016 contains Quarantine fumigation and wash bay facilities and loading ramps, which makes container packing and unpacking quick and easy.We have drivers licensed to transport dangerous goods, oversize loads, single, b-double and road train loads, so no matter what the size of the load or the goods you need transported, we have the equipment and the staff to suit your requirements.

Rapid Haulage has diversified into different fields within the transport industry as it has grown. Rapid Refrigerated Transport has been established for well over thirty years. We have a large, modern, well maintained fleet of temperature controlled vehicles ranging from 1 - 14 pallet rigid trucks through to 22 pallet trailers and B - Doubles. Our Port Adelaide facility comprises of 30000sqm of hard stand area with over 6000sqm of temperature controlled storage space.
