Services
In orthodontics, corrective appliances are designed and used by specialists to treat bad bites. Braces, headgear, plates and other appliances are just some examples of these treatments. Put simply, orthodontic treatment gives people a more attractive smile. This can work wonders on a person's confidence and is a prime reason why people choose an orthodontic specialist.
Since 1999, Whitford City Orthodontics has provided children, teens and adults with specialist orthodontic care. Orthodontist, Dr Kim Pang, leads a team of dental therapists and dental nurses. We also have our very own dental technician, enabling us to process lab-work quickly in our in-house laboratory.
Our team of orthodontic professionals ensures every stage of your treatment is performed to the highest possible standard. Orthodontist, Dr Kim Pang, works closely with a team of university qualified dental therapists, dental nurses, administrative staff and a dental technician. Having a dental technician in our team allows us to process lab-work faster than most practices.
The Australian Society of Orthodontists recommends children visit the orthodontist when they are approximately 7 or 8 years of age. That way, problems can be identified early and optimal treatment strategies, including start times, can be determined. Early treatment is preferred because better results are achieved when the face and jaw are still growing.
Since 1999, Dr Kim Pang has been our orthodontic specialist. He qualified from the Eastman Dental Institute and Hospital in London, specialising in orthodontics. Dr Pang operated a private practice in London before moving to Kuala Lumpur, where he set up another successful practice. During his time in Malaysia, Dr Pang also lectured at the University of Malaya's Dental School.

Great experience even though I’m terrified of any dentist let alone orthodontics and the staff are truely amazing and make you feel so comfortable I love going to see them all now.

We are travelling in WA from Melbourne, and my daughter’s braces had some excess wire poking out. The receptionist understood it would be an easy fix, and was kind enough to book us in on the same day. The orthodontist we saw was very kind and professional, had a look, explained what he was doing, and solved the problem. My daughter is much more comfortable now! They were also kind enough not to charge anything for their time. Much appreciated.
