With a variety of food and beverage packages to choose from, we happily accommodate birthday parties, engagements, holiday parties and more. The Function Room at The Finsbury Hotel can accommodate up to 120 people for a cocktail style event, and up to 100 people for a seated meal. The room has a private bar, 2 x 65 LCD screens, internal sound system with a wireless microphone and a private entrance from the carpark.
The Finsbury Hotel is located just 10km from the Adelaide CBD, and approximately 9km from the airport. Within a 15 minute drive, you'll find yourself in the historical Port River suburb of Port Adelaide, home of the Dolphin Cruises, weekend markets, Semaphore Beach and shopping district. The meal my wife and I had last Friday lunch was a pork chop over sweat potatoes and some type of sauce . It would have had to been the best pork chop and other that I have had . Hats off to the kitchen staff. Only thing not upto scratch was the wait length as there was only 10 people in there for lunch and we had to wait 5mins. The food made it worth it..

I booked a room at this suburban hotel chain as it was located a minute away from where I needed to be.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised.
The room and bathroom was clean, cool and huge.
The meals we had in the restaurant and room service were delicious and well presented and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
Having tried a few different accommodation options recently while visiting Adelaide, CBD fancy chain properties, air b&b's and boutique hotels, this place ticked all the right boxes.

I ordered a carbonara as I had seen that on an online menu for the place, the host misheard through the mask and thought I said marinara (i cant stand seafood) as they werent actually doing carbonara anymore. When we realised what happened they offered to switch my meal and grabbed me another coke free of charge.

I put on a function here for my sister in laws 21st last night and even though there were people that stupidly brought there own alcohol in and was quite rude to the event coordinator she still continued to serve drinks but stopped the shots because the people couldn't listen to the rules. If I was her I personally would of shut the whole thing down, but she continued to allow us to have the party and drink. She did a great job and the event turned out very good. Me as the host of the event am very happy with the service. Thankyou Amanda

I am appalled. We paid for a function room for a 21st party 1 month in advance and the bar tender decided to stop serving alcohol at 9 o clock because “she didn’t want everyone getting too drunk too early” this would have been ok had she told the host who paid for the event. Now I really appreciate the bar tenders but I’m saddened to see that no consideration was given to the person who has forked out money. With no communication many people were outraged and were demanding answers. This led to the manager stopping shots completely. AT 9 o clock! I can handle the expensive prices and everything

Absolutely the most disappointing service ive had especially from my old local haunt. We had to ask 3 times about meals blaming a new chef with last lot of meals being seved cold . these last 5 meals took… 45 mins to bought out after previous with no 1 eating together. A horrible experience for a family birthday meal. Definitely lost our patronage of 16 family members would hate too see what eould happen if there was more than 20 people in for meals like nihht we attended

Popped in tonight for a family meal. every meal was perfect!!!! The beef parmy had great crumbs, nice and thick, BIG! and the topping was tasty with good ham (not the shredded type). The salt and pepper squid… was soft and fresh. probably one of the best ive had. generous serving. chips were nice aswell! The beef schnitzel with creamy garlic prawn topping was sooooo good!! perfect consistency and big prawns!! The mushroom gravy was made as mushroom gravy should be!! all the right ingredients. Hot dinner rolls, cosy environment and friendly helpful staff. Beautiful fireplace. the only thing

I know there are changes due to corona. we reserved a table, no cutlery you have to ask for it at the bar. bread comes out, very crispy no plates. then our meals very over cooked! salmon was like a brick. no salad dressing very dry. chips soggy. schnitzel over cooked .friendly bar staff and clean dining room. plus the door to the bar opens outward so watch out if you're walking back from the toilets and the door suddenly flings open . we were there last Friday.

With so many people only giving bad reports on businesses I would like to thank the finsbury hotel in Adelaide we had to find accomodation near the queen Elizabeth hospital last night not expecting to have to stay they were fantastic allowing me to stay way past check out time till Terry was discharged ,the room was clean .comfortable included a free breakfast and they made sure we had all that we needed and were compassionate knowing we had such a terrible day .Thank you so much guys
