Weddings are a specialty of Retriever Sound and we pride ourselves on making your wedding music personal to you to create a festive atmosphere for you and your guests. With over 20 years of experience in the Perth entertainment industry we have the experience and track record to provide quality entertainment for large and small events.
A huge thank you to Dyson for being our wedding reception DJ! You were so easy to chat to at our consultation and always answered my questions. We really felt like you understood exactly what we were looking for and the reception was absolutely incredible as a result! Dyson and Paula were awesome from the beginning I had no dramas, which I love.
Every ball or formal is unique. We tailor our DJ performance according to the 'vision' for the event, and are committed to working closely with the Ball or formal organisers to come up with a night that is perfectly aligned to your needs and requirements. Balls and formals are one of the most high energy events we participate in and the excitement always makes for a fantastic night.
There is nothing better than going to a sporting event and having music to help create an atmosphere! This is one of Retriever Sound DJ specialties. Creating a set-list to create the atmosphere is important. Hearing the crowd sing along to a favourite or putting together a mix for a crowd dance-off is what we do.
Corporate Events are our specialty. We were awarded the Corporate LiveWire Western Australia Prestige Award 20/21 DJ Service of the Award for our outstanding work within the Corporate industry. We hired them for our wedding reception. They were very friendly and professional, helping us work out our song list and its timing, and were willing to accomodate our requests. On the night itself, everything went smoothly and they helped make our evening a great one. Would definitely recommend!

We recently hired Dyson for our Awards event at Optus stadium he was a pleasure to deal with and super organised throughout. He not only read the crowd to a T but understood the client brief to perfection (which didnt happen everywhere as we toured this event throughout Australia). I would highly recommend retriever sound for any style of event.
