I bought a used car from here in February 2020 after the massive hailstorm in Canberra. Josh was an excellent salesperson and Karlee was fantastic. I never expected to buy a car sight unseen but there very few used or new cars available in Canberra and surrounds after 32000+ vehicles were written off in the hailstorm. Josh sent me through a video of the car, arranged the forms, tinting of the car before it left Cairns and the freighting to Canberra. Josh and Karlee made the purchasing of a vehicle that was 2,500 km away, very easy. I highly recommend purchasing from Westco if you see a vehicle

Car had $52,000 on sticker. I said I don’t want to spend over $50,000 on it. Next thing salesman didn’t want me to test drive and wanted to negotiate prices before the test drive. The effort at service was painful to witness. I Love my new Ford Ranger XLT though. Worked out well in the end.

I have dealt with the Parts Department countless times and I am always happy with them, as for the Service & Recall Department i cannot say the same. Today I had my work car booked in for half a day to carry out a recall Amendment on a BT50 (they called me to arrange this), upon arrival i was told my work car was not booked in and that it also needed another recall repaired that had already been rectified a few years ago. I have now lost half a day of valuable business time and income and my work car has not been seen to as Westco Mazda Cairns has not kept Proper Records. Very Unhappy.

Tried to contact team through email as they were recommended from a friend didn't even get a reply. Went down there with said friend to pick up his car and put mine in. All I can say is charging 50 dollars labour to change an air filter!!!!! You guys are jokers right?

I purchased a second hand Ford Ranger from westco about a year ago. The service was great up until they got the money for the deposit, after that it was almost impossible to get an answer from them, even a simple update via text, the sales people were rude and I now believe were not totally honest. I was going to let it go until recently called to check some information on the car I purchased and never heard back. I will never buy from them again, worst service I have received when buying anything.

We purchased a new Mazda CX5 from Westco Mazda Cairns on Monday 21st October and requested front parking sensor to be installed as part of our new car purchase, we also wanted window tinting on the car.
We had to continually contact Westco Mazda Cairns, in regard to getting a quote for window tinting and paint protection. After 3 days we finally received a call from Victoria, the after sales person. we felt that this after sales service was extremely poor given the time it took to return our calls.
After picking up our new Mazda CX 5 on the Friday afternoon we drove home only to discover that

They get the 1 star for the period before they got my money, after that a big ZERO. First new car for us and it was delivered with a big dirty mark on drivers seat back rest, an oily plastic bag shoved in under the drivers seat and a very important software upgrade not done that caused the car to stop after we did just 5km. Spoke to the manager there (Scott) who said he would get back to me...never did, numerous emails, no reply, heard nothing from them. Have taken car to Mackay Mazda who have been very helpful, I suggest if you're buying a new car try them instead...or anyone else

If I could give them a 0 I would. Take no responsibility for damage done to my car during a service. Had two other places look at my car in agreeance damage was done by Westco Nissan. Tried to charge me almost $500 to replace the parts. Asked for proof it wasn’t them and it took 4 days to be emailed a soggy excuse after going back in and asking for it twice. Extremely poor

Having had some issues in the past with late pick up of vehicle not being ready I must say that my experience today was perfect. The service guy Alex dealt with me in a professional and friendly manner then Dave drove me to do some shopping while I waited for the vehicle to be ready. I then got a call to say it was ready early picked back up and job all done in less than the estimated time. A big thank you and well done for a smooth professional experience.

Absolutely appalling service. Too many services packed into one day, clearly not enough staff to manage the workload. Always kept waiting for courtesy buses and then my car is never ready when requested to be picked up (this is never earlier than 4pm).
We pay so much for a new vehicle, then aren't looked after by the service department. Prices are ridiculous for anyone to be able to afford. Disgusting that vehicles are being designed to ensure customers return to the dealership for their servicing due to the software in the cars.
I've had more than a few frustrating experiences with the service
