HFM legal is an established and well respected medium sized law firm. We have three offices located in Maddington, North Perth and Broome. HFM Legal was founded in 1992 when David Fleming, Brent Meertens and Ron Halperin established the firm formerly known as Halperin Fleming Meertens.

Denmark Legal was established in 2011 by Jeff Atkinson as the sole director. Jeff saw an opening to establish a full-time legal office in Denmark as the town grows and its economy becomes more diversified.
Unofficially known as "the Phantom", David loves spending his time not in the office. And who can blame him? He did start the firm in 1992 and accommodated an incredibly gruelling work load for decades in addition to devoting time to whatever his then obsession was, including flying light aeroplanes and playing competitive tennis.
Edward swims with sharks. Well, at least once in 2010, and possibly involuntarily, when he was thrown overboard whilst fishing in Broome. We suspect this is what made him the relaxed guy that he is today.
Apart from surviving near certain death, Edward enjoys being sleep deprived due to young offspring, volunteering for ambulance duty with St Johns and driving less than five minutes to work each day (after drawing the short straw of managing our Broome Office).He also runs a small farm in Broome with pet dogs, chickens and snakes.

To say "Mick doesn't get along with the printer" is like saying "Stalin's gulags were unpleasant". When not cursing the printer, Mick delights in using a red pen to strike out "bullshittums" from the legal profession, including any "executive summaries", "we will's", "aforementioned's", "herinafter's" or similarly useless drivel.
