Iron is a metal that is needed in our body to produce haemoglobin in red blood cells. Haemoglobin carries oxygen to the cells in our body via blood to maintain our cellular function. It is important for muscle strength, energy level, function of our glands and mental wellbeing.
When we have low iron in our body we feel tired, lethargic, irritable, weak and can lead to decreased production to red cell haemoglobin leading to IDA( Iron Deficiency Anaemia).Skin staining (brown discoloration) may occur due to leakage of iron into the tissues around the needle (drip) site. This is not common but the stain can be long lasting or permanent.

We have been visiting this clinic for a few years now and only see Dr Reza. He has always gone out of his way to ensure I'm not only happy but that I'm well and my family is well. He is diligent, highly professional, respectful but most of all one of the most nicest human beings. He is genuine and cares for his patients always offering sound and honest advice, even letting me know when I don't need things I'm enquiring about. You won't find a better doctor not only in the area but period. The staff and reception team are always welcoming and kind even with the high impact the past 2 years has had

I was iron deficient and could not do the iron supplements orally due to chronic heart disease. Doctor Niaz Reza fid proper assessment if the infusion will work for me or not and gave details about which iron injections I can take. The cost of the entire infusion process was also nominal. I am so happy after taking it and recommend the same to all.!

I booked a last minute appointment for my son as my usual clinic / GP was full and this clinic had availability in the next hour. We sat down in Dr Nandi consultation room and he looked very uninterested. After asking him about my son Stye, he straight away prescribed antibiotic, like to push us out the door. I never heard you need to take oral antibiotic for a stye. Cream or eye drop sometime but oral antibiotic? We were not even out of the chair that he took his mobile phone and started to look at his phone . Terrible 3 minutes consultation.

I have had good experiences pre-covid, however my last two 'phone consults' with Dr. Nandi have been shocking. My last appointment they requested that my prescription be sent to my local chemist, which I had accepted. They then told me they had faxed it to my local chemist, I rang my local chemist twice within hours of each other to find that they had not faxed my prescription, I then had to call the receptionist again, in which she did said she did fax my prescription off (it was not done.)
