Thai On High Street Restaurant

Absolutely fantastic dinner experience food was high quality staff very pleasant and helpful and premises very clean overall a very enjoyable experience

Poor customer service and no idea on how to run a takeaway.
I ordered by phone at 7:05 pm on the 21/1/2022 and was told it would be 40 minutes. At 8:10 pm my takeaway was not ready and asked when it would be ready. One of the young staff came out to say they had run out of chicken. I asked the young staff member to send out the person in charge as you don’t send a boy out to do a mans job. The person in charge came out and tried to say they were busy tonight and that they had run out of chicken and I wouldn’t have to pay for the chicken dish. So it took 55 minutes to tell me that my meal hadn’t

I walked in ordered and paid for food and then was told it wouldn't be ready for 40 mins 😟, 1 hour later it was finally ready 😡!!!
There were a LOT of other people that this had also happened to! As we were all standing around waiting for our orders they were still telling ph orders it would only be half an hour... not 😠.
The young guy (the son) most definitely wasn't the best at customer service either.
The food was ok but definitely not the best I've had.
I'd give it minus stars if I could for the really bad wait time 🤨

This Thai place used to be alright but recently I can’t help but give them some negative feedback.
I spent well over $100 dining in one night with my family & wanted to take a few little leftovers home. The lady serving us said there will be a fee if we want to take our leftovers home! Never in my life have I been charged for a leftover box! Needless to say, we payed them even more money & left.
Recently some friends went to pick up some takeaway after ordering from their website menu which had set prices. When they got there, they were told the prices had increased (drastically might I add

It isn't the best Thai in Toowoomba. Service was okay but rather slow.

They charged almost double the price when I went to pick up the take away. They bluntly said its because of renovation, cost went high and they are yet to update the online menu prices. They didnt even care to mention while placing the order or when I was about to pay. Worst experience. I am never going here again.

I was a reluctant customer in attending to this restaurant until reading their negative reviews. But I wanted to see for myself. I ordered Thai take away. There was parking available in front of the restaurant. My order was ready for pick-up when I arrived. Manny took my order. He was helpful and friendly. I ordered quite a few on their menu . Entree Chicken Satay sticks, money bag and Toowoomba Thai chicken wings . The chicken satay was beautifully cooked and moist. The Toowoomba chicken wings was a bit dry and unappealing to eat. For main dishes we have Ginger Roasted Duck, Chef's Speciality

I wouldn't recommend ordering from here on a holiday. We ordered delivery for dinner on Mother's Day and the two dishes were extremely delayed. Our spicy and non-spicy requests were also mixed up. The food was good but waiting an hour for our meal was disappointing
