Whether it is our lounge suites, dining chairs or verandah furniture, all our rattan, wicker and seagrass is completely natural and made from ecologically sustainable resources.

Services
From full hardwood frames to classic woven pieces, our lounge suites are hand woven to achieve the perfect mix of style and comfort, with limitless colour and upholstery options. Incorporating hardwood timber into the design, our hand woven dining chairs are modern and stylish, and complement our range of distinctive hardwood dining tables.
Steel formers are inlayed over hardwood frame construction thus zero movement at any point including the fine tips of the arms. Sprung bases with the Black Cat support system, Latex cushioning with feather and foam scatters. A very sleek and modern looking design. Upholstered backs can be made as shown at no extra charge.
The Madrid dining chair is constructed over a full timber frame using traditional joinery. It is woven from superior grade rattan peel, the strongest part of the vine, ensuring longevity no matter how heavy the use. It is woven on both sides with an ergonomically designed back, making it comfortable and visually making its mark as a classic chair.
The Sera range is woven in a classical style, loom designed over both sides of the Tahiti rattan pole framework. The uncompromising philosophy shows through in this timeless classic. The smooth flow of the Luna design dreams up warm days relaxing on the verandah with a cool drink. The pieces are woven in a classic style with the skirt flowing to ground level, creating visual appeal from all angles.
At Camberwell Cane we offer a unique service. Custom made pieces can be woven to client's requirements. Our custom made pieces range from small caskets to large scale projects for that lovely unique expressive look. We also cater to commercial clients i.e. hotels, resorts, restaurants etc. Chairs are made to commercial standards arranging furniture from design stage seeing it through to completion.

I am currently building a table and Angelo was so helpful. He has the most amazing and friendly dog at the front of his shop too! Not only that, his shop is like a museum. It’s filled with wondrous furniture from all over the place! He took his time to show me all of the amazing things his made. I’m so glad I went into his shop.

Popped down to Camberwell cane last week and it did not disappoint.
I needed some rattan for a d.i.y job and Angelo was so helpful. The range was extensive and I was not aware of all the beautiful work he does, his craftsmanship is exquisite. I need very specific cuts made with a router to do my job, which he kindly offered to help with. I would highly recommend Camberwell cane, for gorgeous furniture, repairs and supplies.

What a wonderful person and true craftsman Angelo is! I first went to Camberwell Cane two years ago to purchase rattan for a furniture making project, Angelo took the time to give me tips and lesson on how to rattan - it was incredible to see his incredible skills and was so kind to help me! I returned yesterday to Camberwell Cane for my next project! Angelo and his team remembered me and helped me with everything I needed for my chair restorations.
