Services
Founded in 2015 by Dr Nerissa Green, Charlestown Orthodontics offers a centralised, convenient location ready to provide you and your family with high quality orthodontic care. We treat patients of all ages, including adults and young children with the majority of our patients being teenagers. We understand that each smile is unique and every treatment is personalised to provide the best quality of care possible.
With a focus on patient care, the team at Charlestown Orthodontics take pride in treating each of our patients like family and providing a positive orthodontic experience in a caring environment. Chloe is our Dental Hygienist. When Chloe is not helping our patients, she can be found with her husband and her two young boys who keep her busy.
Every patient's treatment plan is specially formulated to meet their specific treatment needs. At the initial consultation Dr. Nerissa Green will carefully listen to your goals, evaluate the issues and discuss the available treatment options to achieve your new smile as well as advise on the best time for treatment to commence.
At your first appointment Dr. Nerissa Green will perform a comprehensive evaluation of your smile and bite and discuss your concerns and the need for treatment. If you have a referral, please bring it to this appointment but it is not an essential requirement. If you are ready for treatment, records in the form of photographs of your face and teeth and impressions of your teeth will be taken.
Our practice is located at the corner of Charlestown Road and Griffiths Street just a short walk from Charlestown Square shopping centre and the Hilltop Plaza. A designated private car park is available for our patients. Public bus transportation is just a short walk away. Dr Green has been treating my daughter’s teeth for over 2 years (treatment started at age 9). The process for the palate expander, and soon to be braces- has been so easy and has made such a huge difference to my child’s life already.
We absolutely love Dr Green, my daughter is so totally smitten with her. She’s very caring and patient.
My review extends to all of the staff at Charlestown Orthodontics- they all have a lovely and welcoming manner.

Not sure what to say. I was treated by Nerissa when I was a young adult and she was a wonderful and talented orthodontist.
I now have some kids and rang up to get my young child in after the dentist recommended some orthodontic treatment. As I had a great experience I rang in mid to late 2018 to make an appointment. I was informed there is a TWO year waiting list! Not believing my wife that this is the case I then called up to be told the same thing! OK, can we be put on the cancellation list to somehow get in before two years - it is now over a year, nearly a year and a half and we have had zero

We've attended Charlestown Orthodontics for almost 6 months now following a recommendation from our dentist. Nerissa is so knowledgeable & thorough about her area of practice and, importantly, she is able to communicate her recommendations and reasons for treatment really clearly and in a manner that is accessible and understandable to young teenagers. A highly professional, well organised and friendly practice. Highly recommended.
